Hi Sharon
Thank you for your email and advise.. It makes me sad to hear that things are getting worse when my wish is that it could get better for everyone in SA. I can always tell when things are rough…the emails and messages about “how did you guys do it” come aplenty. But a lot of people don’t want to give up on the “good life” just last week some friends – a married gay couple asked me if we had just as good quality restaurants as they are used to in JHB. Well…my first reaction was to laugh….but then I realized that they were serious. It’s a way of life that they cannot imagine giving up. Where with us it was never a move for us…but always a move for our children’s future. I have added a pic taken last Sunday….it was Marc’s birthday and we went out for Burgers and a walk on the beach at Takapuna. As you can see….we are well and the girlies are growing and thriving here! I count my blessings EVERY DAY that we got here when we did and I have told EVERYONE that I speak to ….to contact you and your team. I will never ever forget your kindness and advise during that tough time of making the decision and the work that went into getting us here Sharon.
I have just added another pic for you….of Megan at the end of last year…achieving the VERY highest award and trophy for her year at school. I cried like a little baby. So proud of her and that she can become whatever the heck she likes here. Everyday Sharon…every single day I count my blessings and that we are here!
Please look after you!!
